Autor: Natalie Bradbury

Natalie Bradbury is a writer, researcher and occasional musician based in Greater Manchester interested in art, education, architecture and cities. She is particularly interested in art and culture which is experienced outside of the gallery/institutional context. Her PhD, from the University of Central Lancashire, was entitled Pictures for Schools: Art, Education and Reconstruction in Post-war Britain. For many years she wrote the blog and spin-off print fanzine the Shrieking Violet, which was conceived of as an alternative guide to the city. The Shrieking Violet aimed to open its readers' eyes to overlooked aspects of everyday life and seemingly ordinary environments, from canals and street names to buskers and gargoyles. http://www.natalierosebradbury.co.uk/
